DreamFactory Suite Installation and Free Trial
Introduction:
This web page provides installation instructions for the DreamFactory Widget on the Cisco Webex Connect Platform. You can immediately start a free trial of the DreamFactory Suite, or buy the suite for any WebEx Connect workgroup. As a special offer we include a FREE user with every workgroup license! Use the license manager promotional code 'WEBX' to receive your free offer, this is explained in more detail below.
Connect Console Installation
In order to use the DreamFactory Suite, you must first have the WebEx Connect Console. If you can already run Connect you can skip this step. To obtain a Connect Console, simply click on the following link:

To activate your Webex Connect service, you must contact your Cisco Sales Representative.
DreamFactory Widget Installation
Installing the DreamFactory Widget is easy. Once you have activated your Connect Console, you need to create a Space to install the widget.
1. Open a Space where you want to add access to the DreamFactory Suite.
2. From within the space create a new tab and label it “DreamFactory Suite" or whatever.
3. Next, click on the green plus sign icon on the right side of the screen to open the Widget Library.
4. The Widget Library dialog box will appear, select the DreamFactory Suite and click the add button.
5. Follow any onscreen instructions for a one-time install of the DreamFactory Player.
6. When you return to the space, the DreamFactory Suite should be ready to go.
7. You may want to "maximize" the widget window for plenty of room.
Start a Free Trial or Purchase
You can add the DreamFactory Suite to any number of workspaces, for internal or external collaboration. Once installed, it is easy to initiate a free trial or purchase user licenses. There are two licensing options:
Org License -- Allows for centralized administration of all user licenses in an Org admin model. Org licenses are ideal when the primary use is intra company collaboration with a single point of administration. An org license can only cover users in a given org.
Workspace License -- Allows for decentralized administration of user licenses for each workspace. Workspace licensess are ideal for departmental use and cross enterprise use. A workspace license can only cover users in a given workspace.
To start a free trial or purchase:
Step 1: Open the space where the widget is installed and click on the widget to load the application.
Step 2: Once the widget loads, click on the Support Menu and select the License Manager command.
Step 3: The License Manager will then automatically load in the screen.
Step 4: Once the License Manager loads, click on the Account Login tab in the top left corner.
Step 5: log in to your Connect Account in the provided login area and select the radio button for a workspace or org license and then click next. The default option is workspace.
Step 6: You will then be prompted to select from one of the following options:
I want to evaluate the DreamFactory Suite –- Selecting this option will allow you to initiate a 15 day free trial.
I want to purchase the DreamFactory Suite –- Selecting this option will allow you to purchase the application.
Step 7: Once you have selected your desired option, the Select Users tab will open. Here you can select which users for the org or workspace license. Simply type the name of an individual or type the word “All” in the Enter a user name box on the left side of the screen to add users. Their email addresses will be populated in the Found Users box.
Step 8: Select which users in the org or workspace that you want to license and then click the green arrow to move them over to the Named Users box and click the Next button.
Step 9: The next tab is the Contact Information tab. Here you enter your contact information in the spaced allotted and then click next. Note: All spaces with their title in red are required. Be sure to enter the promotional code "WEBX" at bottom to receive one free user!
Step 10: On the click thru agreement screen, check the box on the left side stating I Agree and then click next. You have the option to save the agreement as a text file by clicking the Save button.
Step 11: On the Generate Order tab, to complete the wizard and initiate the Trial simply click on the Finish button. If you selected the I want to Purchase option, a input table would appear on the right where you can select from the billing options provided. The billing options include Bill me later or Pay by Credit Card.
Step 12: Once you click the Finish button, a small dialog box will appear indicating that your license has been updated and activated. You can go back and make changes to your license at any time.
Step 13: Once you click OK, close the space and then open the space and re-launch the widget.
